Many of us have read Sheryl Sandberg’s book, “Lean In.” While there was some pushback from females and males alike on some of her comments in that book, I think we can all agree that Sheryl’s ongoing commitment to studying and improving gender diversity in the workplace has been a beacon of light to all women who have wished for more equality at work.
The organization that she founded, LeanIn.org, and McKinsey & Company have just published a comprehensive study called “Women in the Workplace” that I think every male and female C-suite executive should read. I’d like to share this important work with all of my female colleagues, clients and prospects. You can find it here: https://womenintheworkplace.com/#pipeline-data.
Please pass this seminal study on to your own network of co-workers, friends and family. The more we all realize how important it is to improve gender diversity in the workplace, the sooner we’ll start to see real improvement in the number of women who fill important management and senior management positions.
