Investing with a Blank Canvas: A Q&A with Phil Huber and Patrick O’Shaughnessy
Canvas Platform Offers Unprecedented Flexibility to Customize Separate Account Strategies
At last week’s inaugural Wealth/Stack conference in Scottsdale, AZ, O’Shaughnessy Asset Management (“OSAM”) CEO Patrick O’Shaughnessy delivered a keynote where he publicly unveiled Canvas, which is the first software that allows advisors to design, implement, and maintain deeply customized investment strategies for their clients through separately managed accounts (SMAs).
Huber Financial is one of a handful of RIA firms across the country that has immediate access to this groundbreaking new platform.
“We have been eagerly awaiting the official launch for several months now,” said Phil Huber, CFA, CFP®, chief investment officer of Huber Financial. “After Patrick O’Shaughnessy demonstrated the platform to us several months ago, it quickly became apparent that Canvas was something that we wanted to deliver as a potential service to our clients.”
The Huber Financial team spent the summer testing the software and sharing feedback with the team at OSAM as they continued to iterate and fine-tune the product.
