Last month, we spent several hours at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), an organization that was founded 25 years ago with a vision of creating a world where no child goes to bed hungry. It was a great experience and everyone had fun filling bags with food and packaging them in boxes for their final destination in Nicaragua and Haiti.
We were part of a larger group who were also volunteering. As a whole, our group completed 156 boxes, which included enough food to feed 92 children for one year (33,696 meals). This event was a great way to wrap up 2014 and look forward to 2015.
