Phil Huber is chief investment officer for Huber Financial, responsible for overseeing all investment and portfolio-management related functions. As chairman of the firm’s Investment Committee, Phil directs all research efforts that he and his team perform on asset managers, investment strategies and portfolio construction techniques.
In addition, Phil takes an active role in writing straightforward commentary to inform clients and explain the firm’s investment philosophy. Phil presents down-to-earth, accessible content based on his experience from deep within the trenches of Huber Financial and the investment community at large.

Prior to joining Huber Financial, Phil was employed at Affiliated Managers Group (AMG). While at AMG, he worked closely with financial advisors to develop investment strategies for their clients.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionalTM. Phil also is a CFA® charter holder and a member of the CFA society of Chicago.
Phil and his wife Christie live in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago where they enjoy reading, yoga and taking advantage of Chicago’s vibrant food scene. He also happens to be a lifelong, die hard professional wrestling fan.
